Open driving

Any other drivers?

There’s always a chance that someone else may want to drive your car. So are they covered to do so?

If your policy includes open driving, anyone aged from 25 up to 70 years, depending on the insurer, with a full Irish, EU or UK licence can drive your car if you’ve given permission. They will enjoy all the benefits that apply to you and there’s no need to add them as a named driver.

Since open driving is an optional extra, an additional charge may be added to your premium.

Terms and conditions apply.
