General Insurance – Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

  1. Eligible Referrers:
    • All current full-time and permanent part-time employees are eligible to participate in the referral program.
    • HR personnel and hiring managers are excluded from participation.
  2. Eligible Referrals:
    • Referral bonuses are applicable only for specific positions listed in our job openings.
    • Temporary positions and internships are excluded from the program.

Referral Submission Process

  1. Referral Method:
    • Referrals must be submitted through our internal referral portal.
    • Required information includes the candidate’s name and contact details.
  2. Referral Timing:
    • Referrals must be submitted before the candidate applies for the position.

Bonus Payment

  1. Bonus Amount:
    • Bonus amounts are payable in monthly payroll & subject to taxation
    • Bonus amounts will vary depending on the role being advertised.
      • General Insurance/Personal Lines Agents and/or Team Leads: Bonus amount of €1000 is payable in 2 x €500 instalments.
  2. Payment Conditions:
    • The fist bonus instalment is paid after the referred candidate successfully completes 3 months with the company and a second bonus instalment after the referred candidate successfully completes 6 months with the company
    • Payment will be made in the payroll after each of the above periods.

Candidate Eligibility

  1. Candidate Criteria:
    • Referred candidates must meet the minimum qualifications for the position.
    • Candidates who have applied or interviewed within the last 12 months are not eligible.
  2. Internal Candidates:
    • Current employees and former employees are not eligible to be referred.

Validity Period

  1. Referral Validity:
    • Referrals are valid for 12 months from the date of submission.

Duplicate Referrals

  1. Handling Duplicate Referrals:
    • In case of duplicate referrals, the first referrer will receive the bonus.

Referral Ownership

  1. Assignment of Ownership:
    • Ownership of a referral is determined by the timestamp of the referral submission.

Program Changes and Termination

  1. Right to Modify:
    • We reserve the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time, with or without notice.
  2. Notification of Changes:
    • Changes to the program will be communicated to employees through company email and the internal portal.

Legal and Tax Implications

  1. Tax Liability:
    • Referrers are responsible for any tax liabilities associated with the referral bonus.
  2. Compliance with Laws:
    • The program complies with all relevant labour and employment laws.

General Conditions

  1. No Guarantee of Hire:
    • Referring a candidate does not guarantee their hiring.
  2. Good Faith:
    • Referrals must be made in good faith, with honest intentions.
  3. Dispute Resolution:
    • Any disputes related to the referral program will be resolved through our HR department.
  4. Non-Transferability:
    • Referral bonuses are non-transferable.

Confidentiality

  1. Confidential Information:
    • Referrers must maintain confidentiality regarding the referral and recruitment process.
